SELF-COACHING
In 2015 the aerobic gymnastic programme at Northern Districts Gymnastics Club in Perth, WA, Australia, was left without a coach after the coaching staff resigned for personal reasons. With the aerobic programme in danger of closing down, she decided to become the programme coordinator at the club while still studying at university. "I made the decision to take over the operation of the programme and reworked the entire training schedule to accommodate both my own training, the athletes' needs and my university schedule. I have been training alone and without the help of a professional coach to assist me. Without a high performance coaching environment I have to video my own training to adjust and to learn new skills." (gofundme.com, 22 Feb 2016)
