DIABETES CHALLENGE
In 2010 he was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes. "I can still remember the devastating news when the doctor came back with my test results and how I knew everything would be somewhat different from then on. The condition has pushed me past my limits, but I have overcome anything it has thrown my way. T1D hasn't stopped me from reaching my goals and I hope to inspire others, especially younger athletes, who are struggling just as I once did." (Instagram profile, 01 Oct 2017)
