Reason for taking up the sport
"I first did artistic gymnastics, but because of all the hard training and injuries my parents decided to quit. By chance I came across trampoline gymnastics. BALANCE DISORDER
She has been affected by benign paroxysmal positional vertigo [BPPV], which causes dizziness. She experienced the problem in 2018 and also at the 2022 Dutch Championships in Rotterdam. "That's not how you want to jump at a national championships. I had a bit of a mental breakdown, because I really can't handle this again for a few months. Hopefully it will pass soon."
