Reason for taking up the sport
He followed his sister into the sport. "I think that what trampoline has over a lot of other sports is that there's no limit, never a time where you've learned everything. You can add a flip to a routine, you can just keep adding one thing after another, it just never stops. I like the challenge and it's a lot of fun, too." Hero / Idol

Philosophy / Motto
"It is far better to grasp the universe as it really is than to persist in delusion, however satisfying and reassuring." [Carl Sagan] (gymcan.org, 01 Jan 2020)

FURTHER EDUCATION
In 2017 he began studying for a PhD in electrical and computer engineering at the University of Toronto in Canada. "Outside of school, my biggest passion is definitely trampoline. I have competed in the sport since I was 12, and have continued throughout my studies. I find the training complements academic studies really well, allowing me to take a break and release some energy, and actually think more clearly when I return to studying. Scheduling time for everything can be a challenge, but has also helped me to become very organised and efficient in my work." (sgs.utoronto.ca, 31 Aug 2019; LinkedIn profile, 01 May 2017)
