RETIREMENT
In 2019 he announced his retirement from the sport. "I spent about 18 years on the trampoline. The moment has come to say goodbye and thank everyone I worked and trained with. I think I have done so much for the sport. The peak of my form is behind me and I would not reach the sporting level I had a few years ago [again]. My dream was to qualify for the most important quadrennial event [the Olympic Games], but unfortunately this goal was not achieved. I think the Olympic Games had fuelled me so much that it made me achieve these good results in other competitions. I am an employee of the University of Zielona Gora [in Poland]. I also work in a sports school, so I have a lot to keep me busy." (lzg24.pl, 31 Oct 2019; infoserwis.uz.zgora.pl, 24 Oct 2019)
