Reason for taking up the sport
She was initially involved in swimming, taekwondo and athletics, but was inspired to take up gymnastics after watching the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. "It was love at first sight once I saw it on TV." She later met Spanish gymnasts Gervasio Deferr and Saul Cofino, who suggested she join a club.
