OLYMPIC FINAL
He competed in the individual all-around final at the 2012 Olympic Games in London after three gymnasts who had qualified for the final in the earlier rounds withdrew and he was the next athlete in line. "I heard the news that I could do the all-around final the day before, so I hadn't trained for about three days. Normally we train almost every day, so it was a little bit scary to do the final without having trained in three days. In the warm-up gym my coach asked if there was still a training session. They said no, but he explained my situation so they said OK. I trained for an hour-and-a-half, and after this little training, I felt ready for the final because I was in my best shape ever."
