PARENTAL SUPPORT
She took up the sport in her hometown of Rovinj, Croatia. However, for better training conditions she joined the KRSG Porec club which is a one-hour drive from Rovinj. "My parents gave me a ride every day from Rovinj to Porec, to take me for training and waiting there for me. They also took me to many competitions. Without them nothing like that would have been possible." (porestina.info, 20 Feb 2019; gkaura.wixsite.com, 01 Jan 2019)
