WATCH: 'YOU DID IT'
“Be there,” sang the members of FOG, the Finnish rock band who produced the 2015 World Gymnaestrada’s official song. The 20,000 or so who answered the call lived a week in the Nordic capital that will stay with them forever.
As the week drew to a close, all eyes turned toward a new date - July 2019 - and a new destination: Dornbirn (AUT), host of the 2007 World Gymnaestrada. After the Closing Ceremony at the Olympic Stadium, the assembled gymnasts scattered, aware of having lived something special. After a short break, the process of preparing for the next World Gymnaestrada will begin again.
