Awards
In 2019 she and her teammates [Sayuri Sugimoto, Nanami Takenaka, Ayuka Suzuki, Rie Matsubara and Kiko Yokota] were presented with Best Gymnast Award by the Japan Gymnastics Association. They became the first Japanese team in 44 years to win a medal in the group all-around at the world championships following their silver at the 2019 edition in Baku, Azerbaijan. RETIREMENT
In September 2021 she announced her retirement from rhythmic gymnastics via social media. "After competing as an athlete, I wanted to be one of the people who made the way, and I want to work as a leader in the future. To that end, I am currently starting research at graduate school, focusing on junior teaching methods. I will continue to make efforts so that I can help someone."
