Injuries
A hamstring injury forced her to miss the 2015 World Championships in Glasgow, Scotland. (heldenonline.nl, 18 Nov 2015)
While she was getting back into shape in the summer of 2013, she broke her right ankle in the same spot she broke her left ankle two years earlier. She had to have surgery again and had to rest for a few months. She took up training again in June 2014. (intlgymnast.com, 19 Sep 2014)
In November 2011 she underwent surgery to fix a broken navicular bone in her left foot. A month earlier she had competed at the 2011 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan, without realising the bone was broken. She made her competitive comeback at the end of February 2012. CONTEMPLATING RETIREMENT
After surgeries on both of her ankles in 2011 and 2013, she considered quitting the sport. "I was kind of tired of being injured all the time.
