CAREER BREAK
She took a break from competitive gymnastics after she graduated from high school at the end of 2017 and travelled around Australia for three months. During this trip she rekindled her love for gymnastics and decided to combine her studies in medicine with being an athlete when she began university in October 2018. "After graduation, I was very unsure which career direction I wanted to take. For me it was clear that you cannot earn money with gymnastics, and I cannot do it until I'm 60. At the same time I had no fun in the gymnastics hall. After I spent time travelling I discovered a new love for the sport and I realised I could continue as a student athlete."
