Injuries
Her training was disrupted by multiple injuries from 2020 to 2022. She competed at the 2021 South East Asian Games in Vietnam [which took place in May 2022] with injuries in both knees, her left leg, and her right shoulder, although she won two gold medals and one bronze at the Games. Doctors then recommended she undergo surgery to repair a tear in her shoulder but she decided to forgo the procedure in order to continue competing. She took a six-week break to rehabilitate her injuries after competing at the 2022 Asian Championships in Doha, Qatar. Start sporting career
She took up artistic gymnastics while in the first grade of school in Jakarta, Indonesia. "I actually practised various sports as a child. I swam for two years in elementary school. My mum also introduced me to artistic and rhythmic gymnastics, ballet, wall climbing, and diving. I practised and liked all of them. But then after spending two years practising gymnastics, I competed at an event in Singapore, and I won three gold medals. My mum was certain it was the sport for me."
Reason for taking up the sport
"I happened to like heights and all sports that pumped up my adrenaline. So when my mother took me to Ragunan [sports school in Jakarta] to look around, I was interested in the students practising on the trampoline. That was when I decided to take up gymnastics."

But it all became more stable at junior high [when she went to Ragunan sports school in Jakarta, Indonesia]." (asiangames.tempo.co, 19 Feb 2018)
