Start sporting career
She first began recreational gymnastics at age three at the ProPatria club in Zoetermeer, The Netherlands. "When I was four I started with artistic gymnastics and at the age of seven I chose to do trampoline only."
Reason for taking up the sport
She wanted to quit artistic gymnastics to focus solely on the trampoline, as it was the most fun for her.
