Start sporting career
He first tried trampolining at age seven at a summer club run by Sporting Clube de Portugal.
Reason for taking up the sport
He was introduced to the sport by his mother Margarida Abreu, who was a rhythmic gymnast at Sporting Clube de Portugal. His talent was noticed by the coaches and he was invited to train in the sport.
