She began trampolining at age seven, a year after she had got involved in artistic gymnastics.

She took up swimming as a young girl, but then decided she wanted to try something else. She then played volleyball but her mother advised her to try artistic gymnastics. Shortly after she switched to trampolining. "We had a trampoline in the side of the gym and I would want to stay there for the whole hour. Later that year, I got invited to try out for the trampoline team. Ever since then, I've been involved in trampoline. The feeling of flying I got from when I was a little kid still makes my heart beat. I love what I do."

In February 2023 she and partner Alice Gomes became the first Brazilian trampolinists to claim a gold medal at a World Cup event when they finished in first place in the women's synchro event at the 2023 event in Baku, Azerbaijan. SANCTION
She received a 37-day suspension from the International Gymnastics Federation [FIG] after returning an adverse analytical finding for the banned substance canrenone, a diuretic, in a sample provided during the 2019 World Championships in Tokyo, Japan. Before the championships she had started a medical treatment, which contained the diuretic, without informing FIG. The suspension ran from 30 November 2019 until 06 January 2020 but she was considered ineligible to compete until 17 August 2020 as she had to continue with her treatment. MOVE TO THE UNITED STATES
In 2014 she moved to the United States of America to spend three months training there. She contacted US trampolinist Jeffrey Gluckstein who knew Russian coach Tatiana Kovaleva. During her stint she became closer to Jeffrey's brother, Steve, with whom she began a relationship and eventually married. "As our relationship was growing so did my improvement on the trampoline. FEAR OF HEIGHTS
Despite performing jumps over six metres high, she is afraid of heights. "I have had a fear of heights since I was a child. I do not dare to look down from a tall building. While on an airplane I close the window. But on the trampoline I feel like I am flying. As I have been practising it since I was a child I do not feel that I am jumping that high." MENTALITY IMPROVEMENT
After falling short of qualifying for both the 2016 and 2020 Olympic Games, she says she has improved in the way she deals with setbacks which has led her to be more focused on her routine. "Previously, I let my mind affect me a lot. I went to competitions knowing that I could be among the best, but because of thinking about it, I was not able to show what I did in training.
