Reason for taking up the sport
"My parents enrolled me in the sport, so that I had a correct and even posture. Many parents enrol their children in gymnastics for health, and mine never thought that I would be professional. For the first time in my life I saw rhythmic gymnastics on TV, I liked the performance of the athletes so much that I wanted to do it myself. I liked their beauty, elements that they perform with objects. It was very interesting to watch their performances."
Awards
In 2014 she was named Best Female Gymnast by Baku School of Gymnastics in Azerbaijan. (azertag.az, 15 Oct 2014)
