"One day I went to the gym with my mother to pick up my sister. I was bored and sitting in the stands. The gymnastics coaches saw me doing a trick and thought I had a talent for the sport."

OLYMPIC DETERMINATION
He missed out on a place on the Dutch Olympic team for the 2016 Games in Rio de Janeiro and has set his sights on competing in Tokyo in 2020. "I am going to make sure that I am not in the same position for the next Olympics, the 2020 Olympics in Tokyo. I will make sure that they can no longer get around me.
