A stress fracture in her back prevented her from training for much of 2013 and limited her to conditioning only. Start sporting career
She began competing in gymnastics in 1999. She initially started with the tumbling discipline before switching to artistic gymnastics.
Reason for taking up the sport
Her older sister competed in tumbling and trampoline gymnastics.
