Injuries
In 2017 he injured his shoulder after the high bar he was performing on broke during a training camp with the national team. The injury meant he was unable to compete at the 2017 World Championships in Montreal, QC, Canada. It was the second time a high bar had broken on him, although he had only sustained minor injuries to his hand and his back on the first occasion.
