SYNCHRO PARTNERSHIP
She competes in the women's synchro event alongside Camilla Gluckstein who lives in the United States of America, while Gomes lives in Belo Horizonte, Brazil. "We talk to each other by telephone. One sends a video and the other measures time to get to synchronisation. Sometimes it goes wrong but many times we nail it. At the time of competition it is most a feeling thing. Each one of us does her thing because if I worry about doing the same as she does I end up losing focus." (uol.com.br, 10 Jun 2023; Bandsports YouTube channel, 23 Feb 2023)
