Reason for taking up the sport
"I love my discipline [acrobatics] because unlike other gymnastic disciplines I get to work very close as a team. Working together allows us to motivate each other and push through the rough patches."
Additional information
RETIREMENT
In November 2019 he announced his retirement from acrobatics after competing alongside pairs partner Charlie Tate at the 2019 European Championships in Holon, Israel. He made the decision to retire due to a growth spurt which made it harder to work with partner Charlie Tate in the pairs competition. "I think, normally, in senior pairs the base is a few years older than the top, so there's a height difference, but there's only eight months difference between me and Charlie. I'm getting taller and the size difference is just not working out. We're still aiming at working together in the future. Not necessarily at competitions but in shows around the world." SUPPORT ACT
He has experience working on television and movie sets, and hopes to pursue this further once his sporting career is over. "I occasionally work in the film industry doubling actors, and this is something I intend to pursue once my competitive career is over, not for a few years yet though."
