Injuries
In February 2024, Benny suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament (ACL) in his right knee, but initially postponed surgery due to the Olympic Games. With the help of physiotherapy treatment, he managed to compete in Paris.
In 2020 he required surgery after breaking his right elbow. (noen.at, 05 May 2021)

Start sporting career
He first tried trampoline gymnastics at age two in Tulln, Austria.
Ambitions
Following the ACL surgery after the 2024 Olympic Games, Benny aims to regain full performance capability by the 2025 World Championships and participate in top form at the 2028 Olympic Games.
