FOCUS ON RINGS
He is specialising in competing on rings to have a better chance of qualifying for the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. "Previously, I competed on several apparatus, but then I made the final choice in favour of the rings. There is also very strong competition here. If we take into account a long-term strategy, then I expect to qualify for the Olympics through certain events. During the selection for [the 2020 Olympic Games in] Tokyo, I did not have enough points to successfully pass it. Although now the qualification scheme for Paris is still unknown and will be made public later. But if the previous regulations are preserved, then athletes will be able to qualify for the Games not only in the all-around, but also in individual events. I look forward to fighting for a place."
