She took up the sport in 2010 in Makeyevka, Ukraine.
Reason for taking up the sport
"At age six, I really wanted to dance and asked my mother to take me there. But they took me to acrobatics instead. I was surprised, but didn't say anything. I was asked to make a 'fold', after which I was advised to go to gymnastics. And it was my grandfather who took me to the first training session. Since then I have been in gymnastics."
Awards
In 2021 she received the Medal for Labour and Valour from the president of Ukraine. (president.gov.ua, 08 Mar 2021)
