Start sporting career
She decided to focus on gymnastics over ballet at age seven.
Reason for taking up the sport
"When I was younger, I had a lot of energy, so I was put into swimming, ballet, and gymnastics. I stopped swimming when I was quite young but carried on with ballet and gymnastics until I was about seven years old, when I had to choose between the two because both needed a lot of time put into them. I chose gymnastics because I found it so much more exciting, and I could train for more hours as there was a lot more to learn with four apparatuses."
Ambitions
To compete at the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris. (tresamagazine.com, 09 Sep 2022)
Trainings
She trains five days a week for a total of about 30 hours.

Additional information
MINDSET TRAINING
She has worked with a mindset coach. "The main adjustment I made to better my gymnastics [between 2021 and 2022] was to the psychological aspect of training and competition. I started working with a positive mindset coach, and she has helped me with some of the most important psychological skills in gymnastics like, communication, self-belief and controlling my thought processes and emotions. I also looked at my routines on each apparatus with my coaches Josh and Molly [Richardson], and we came up with long- and short-term goals and a training programme that would help me achieve them." CALIFORNIA COMMITMENT
In 2020 she verbally committed to study at the University of California, Berkeley in the United States of America. "I'm super excited to be a Cal Bear because of the bond that they have as a team. At first it [collegiate gymnastics] wasn't my thing. I thought it looked really cool, but I never thought anything of it. When I got contacted by a lot of NCAA colleges it then suddenly opened my eyes to the whole experience. [The University of California, Berkeley] appealed to me so much, especially how the girls are such a team, like how we are [in the British national squad]."
