Her sisters Hannah, Sarah and Jennah have all competed in gymnastics. Sarah has represented the United States of America in artistic gymnastics, and won bronze on balance beam at the 2010 Pan American Championships in Guadalajara, Mexico. Hannah represented the Philippines in artistic gymnastics at the 2011 South East Asian Games in Indonesia. REPRESENTING THE PHILIPPINES
She originally represented the United States of America in artistic gymnastics and was a member of the US women's team that claimed the team title at the 2019 Pan American Games in Lima, Peru. In 2021 she announced her retirement from the sport after failing to qualify for the US squad for the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. However, she returned to international competition at the 2021 South East Asian Games in Hanoi, Vietnam [which took place in May 2022], this time representing the Philippines. She was eligible to represent her new nation through her mother, who was born and raised in the Philippines. "I got a call from the Philippines around September [2021]. I told them I was open to it, but I also did tell them that college gymnastics came first. They gave me a list of meets, and they were like, 'Here, you can go to any of these that you want'. I kind of looked at it, and I knew one was going to be right after [the university] season. So, I knew it was probably going to be the easiest, considering I had already been training this whole year. I think we're just seeing where this journey goes, you know."
