Additional information
COMEBACK
After having retired from the sport due to injuries, she decided to make a comeback in June 2020 after a four-year break. Her former partner, Elyne de Meyst, who now coaches at Ambitious Pro Gymnastics, persuaded her to make a comeback. "She called me because Yana Vastavel, one of the girls in the team, had to retire because of a back injury. I knew I couldn't let this opportunity go and said yes. My partner and parents know how much I loved acrobatics and they knew that I would have loved to have a different ending to my career when I retired. I had to take up this challenge, because otherwise I would regret not taking the chance."
