Additional information
PASSION REIGNITED
She began studying at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln in the United States of America in 2021. She says that entering college gymnastics renewed her passion for the sport, and the following year she won three bronze medals at the 2022 Commonwealth Games in Birmingham, England, which was her first international competition in more than two years. "I don't even know how to explain it, but it [competing for the University of Nebraska-Lincoln] is so much fun and it really changed my love for the sport. I wasn't having as much fun with the competitions and that just changed everything for me. College gymnastics is definitely more fun than elite, more relaxed, and I tried to bring that fun team approach into my elite gymnastics with this competition [the 2022 Commonwealth Games]."
