Additional information
UNFINISHED BUSINESS
She took a six-month break from training after she graduated from Central Michigan University in the United States of America. She then decided to target a spot on the Canadian national team instead of retiring from competitive sport. "My main motivation this past year [speaking in 2022] was to make the senior national team and represent Canada on the international stage. In my entire high school career I was close to making it but had always fallen short. I actually took approximately six months off following my NCAA career. However, with my senior [university] season being cut short due to COVID, I felt that I had some unfinished business in gymnastics and I wanted to ensure I left the sport with [no] regrets or what-ifs. So, I made the decision to return to training and focus on making the national team." (intlgymnast.com, 09 Jun 2022)
