She took up the sport at age eight at Club Gimnastic Mataro in Spain.
Reason for taking up the sport
She tried swimming, taekwondo, and athletics when she was younger. She was inspired to take up gymnastics after watching the 2008 Olympic Games in Beijing. "It was love at first sight once I saw it on TV."

In 2021 she took up a scholarship at Iowa State University in the United States of America.
