Her mother Juliana Coradine was a rhythmic gymnast and worked as a coach. She had no one to leave Gabriella with when she went to work so she decided to take her daughter to the gym with her, where Gabriella began practising the sport.

She trains for more than four hours a day, and sometimes up to seven days a week.
