Her mother has coached the sport and is the founder of a gymnastics club in Alcoi, Spain.

MISSED OLYMPICS
She struggled with injury during the 2020/21 season, and eventually missed out on selection for the national team ahead of the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo. "It was a shame. I thought I wouldn't be able to bear watching the Games on television, but it was quite the contrary. I woke up early to watch all the performances of the national team. I suffered and enjoyed it a lot. Now I am happy and proud of all that happened in the lead-up and for having been part of the national team selection process.
