He took up the sport at age 18.
Reason for taking up the sport
He practised a number of sports, including gymnastics, between age six and 12. "When my coach stopped, I also stopped. I took up ju-jitsu. I played football at regional level for the pleasure of being with my friends. When I was taken up to national level, I no longer went to training. Around age 17 or 18, I realised that I had missed the gym when I met a friend, Sebastien Bouvy, who practised parkour. It was by training with him that I started again. This discipline gives me a lot of freedom."
