Start sporting career
He began the sport at age 14. (FIG, 26 Mar 2019)
Reason for taking up the sport
He was inspired by watching films 'Yamakasi' and 'Banlieu 13'. "Then I watched some videos on the internet and decided to try it with my friends. It was just for fun at the beginning, but it quickly became a passion. I love using my body in an environment that it was not previously considered for." (lalsace.fr, 31 May 2019)
Trainings
He trains up to 35 hours a week. (Le Pec en Scene calameo.com, 01 Nov 2019)
Philosophy / Motto
"It's man against the things he builds. There is a real feeling of freedom by overcoming these obstacles. I also love that there are really no rules. We build this sport with our creativity and determination." (lalsace.fr, 31 May 2019)

OVERCOMING FEAR
He says that to beat fear he needs to know his body better and to have confidence. "Fear guides us all in parkour. It helps us to go forwards without being in danger. I break down the movements, watch videos and try to understand. Some things are learnt easily outside such as the basics. [But] I have also trained in gymnastics halls. With that I can understand better my body. Protections are useless, and they even bother. Danger in parkour is everywhere. And it is part of the discipline to master that danger and to know how to listen to your instincts when visualising a jump. If I feel fear of trying a jump I don't do it. Being in danger is nonsense because if you gets hurt, you cannot train." He says he deals with heights with intensive training and repetitions. "The work with heights is a complex one. It is done after such an intensive and rigorous training on the ground. When we repeat a jump over 1,000 times without missing it we know that doing it on a high place is possible. I will try things first on the ground, I never try something new while on the roofs. Only when you have confidence in yourself and in your abilities, you can go and explore on higher ground." (lalsace.fr, 31 May 2019; lequipe.fr, 13 Sep 2019)

He is an actor and stuntperson who has taken part in advertising clips. He was a participant on French TV show 'Ninja Warrior', a contest in which the participants have to run an obstacle race.
