She took up the sport at age seven, and began training professionally at age eight in Daugavpils, Latvia.
Reason for taking up the sport
She followed her cousin into the sport. "I came, looked and told my mother that I wanted to practise. The following day I was already in the gym and after that I stayed there."
Trainings
She has six training sessions per week.
