Start sporting career
He first tried parkour at age eight and began to take the sport seriously in 2015. "At first it was my dad, who was a physical education teacher, who helped me with my first flips, but since then I have always been my own coach. For several years I jumped a lot on our garden trampoline, which developed my flip and twist technique enormously. My dad also built a parkour park in our garden where I trained a lot."
Reason for taking up the sport
"I wasn't really interested in school. I just wanted to do parkour. I want to be as good as I can and make a living out of this, travelling and training and competing around the world without having any other job. I want to keep going until I'm 50 years old."
Milestones
He became the first male parkour athlete representing Sweden to win a World Cup gold medal when he was victorious in freestyle at the 2021 event in Sofia, Bulgaria. (aftonbladet.se, 11 Sep 2021; parkour.sport, 12 Sep 2021)
