Start sporting career
She took up the sport at age five at Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics Club in Wales. "I was about seven years old and I did well in a competition. Some of the other mums assumed I must have been older and they complained about me. I ended up having to prove my age, which was a bit strange. That's when I first thought, maybe I can be quite good at this sport."
Reason for taking up the sport
"I was a very hyper child and my mum and dad decided to put me into some classes at my first gymnastics club [Cardiff Olympic Gymnastics] to calm me down. They also put me into swimming lessons but then Welsh Gymnastics offered me to train with them full-time and that's when I had to choose. My love for gymnastics definitely came when I chose gym."
