Injuries
In March 2021 he injured his right foot after hitting the horizontal bar during his dismount. There was concern he had broken the foot, but he competed at the 2021 Australian Championships in May that year. He then underwent surgery to fix the issue in his foot. "I used to do tennis for a bit, and swimming. I tried softball, football, but I took to gymnastics quite well."

GUINNESS WORLD RECORD
In June 2021 he set a Guinness World Record for the most consecutive double leg circle rotations on a mushroom trainer. He set a mark of 1057 in his attempt, which took place at the Brisbane Grammar School Gymnastic Club in Queensland, Australia. (guinnessworldrecords.com, 01 Jan 2023)
