Facts and Figures
Young gymnasts fulfilling the age and minimum requirements of their respective discipline qualified for Nanjing at their continental championships in Artistic, Rhythmic and Trampoline Gymnastics this spring. In total, Artistic Gymnastics has a quota of 42 places for men and 42 for women at the YOG; Rhythmic Gymnastics features 18 individual gymnasts and six groups of five, while 12 men and 12 women will compete in Trampoline Gymnastics. All competitions will take place in the Gymnasium of the Nanjing Olympic Sports Centre, which will see a total of 16 Gymnastics medal events during the Games.
