2013 accounts, auditors’ report, the 2014 budget and revised four-year plan are accepted.

 

Applications for affiliation to FIG from Zambia and Uganda will be submitted for approval to the FIG Council, in May 2014.

 

Amendments to FIG statutes shall be submitted to Congress in Tashkent (UZB) in October 2014. Among others, the election of Technical Presidents by the General Assembly and the nomination of members of the said Committees by the Executive Committee.

 

Medical research shall be conducted during the 2015 World Gymnaestrada in Helsinki (FIN). This is one of the most ambitious projects ever undertaken by FIG.

 

The Medical Commission has taken over the dossier regarding health standards in effect on the composition of materials used in landing pits.

 

This same Commission will be soon presenting the blueprint for the biological passport for gymnasts.

 

The principles of Olympic qualification shall be submitted to a vote at the Council Meeting next May.

 

The Federation of Qatar (QAT) is candidate to host the 48th World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2018. Referred to Council for decision in May 2014.

 

The new statutes of the African Gymnastics Union (UAG) have been approved.

 

The amendments made to the Rhythmic Gymnastics Code of Points shall come into force 1st January 2015.

 

The Executive Committee presented its honorary diplomas to women’s Artistic Gymnastic judges Liudmila Korolenko (RUS), Yamada Mayumi (JPN) and Marjeta Kova (SLO), in recognition of their services.

The classification of deserving member federations for the year 2013 stands as follows: 1 Japan; 2. Russia; 3. Spain; 4. Belarus; 5. Romania. Pursuant to regulation, these federations shall be credited respectively with CHF 15’000.–, 12’500.–, 10’000.–, 7’500.– and 5’000.–.
